There are two simple ways you can check in to confirm your flight at Summit Airlines. One way is from the Summit Mobile App, on our website, or in-person at the airport. We suggest checking in online to give you an advantage in saving time. Regardless of where you check-in, you will still be required to have your boarding pass in hand or on phone and your photo identification issued by the government.

Required Travel Documents

Within the US
- When travelling from destination to destination in the United States, only a government-issued photo identification or a passport from your origin.
- Different ID examples include:
  - Military ID
  - Passport
  - Driver’s License
  - Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
  - Registered Traveler Card

Outside the US
- A government-issued passport and a select visa (depending on the country you are travelling to) will be needed in order to pass through security and be on your way to your flight. Please make sure to check if the country you are travelling to requires any documents to enter. The passport must match other forms of identification you possess. The passport must be within more than one year of its expiration date for it to be valid for you to travel internationally.
- If a visa is not necessary for your preceded destination, only a passport will be needed though security. Make sure to have your passport and another form of identification on hand when you arrive to the kiosk to confirm your identity to be eligible to board your flight.

SECURITY TIPS

Be prepared to take off your shoes, belt, and metallic apparel and/or accessories.
Speed up the process by avoiding sharp objects (i.e. scissors and pocket knives) and liquid materials over 3.4 oz.
When reaching security, have both your boarding pass and ID out to show and confirm your identity along with your flight.
Ahead of time, be aware that you must take out all electronics (i.e. computers, phones, tablets) and place it in the bin.
Do not store any electronics in your checked bags if you have any.
