CARRY-ON ANDÂ CHECK-IN BAGGAGE
Carry-on
Is this too large to count as a carry-on? Is my laptop case bag considered a carry-on? Can I bring three backpacks? Summit Airlines is aware of all the concerns you may have so we have explicitly detailed the answers to your questions below. If you have any further concerns, feel free to contact us.
WHAT DO PEOPLE USUALLY BRING?
Travelers typically bring one personal item and one carry-on bag. There may be different exceptions depending on your seating choice.
PERSONAL ITEMS
Your personal must not exceed the size of a backpack. Passengers typically bring briefcases, backpacks, computer cases, etc.
CARRY-ON BAG
This bag should fit in the overhead bin. They usually are often known as the small cabin suitcase. These bags should fit within the measurements of 22 x 14 x 9 inches. If they fail to meet these standards you will have to pay for the check in bags.

Check-in
Depending on the destination and time of your flight, you might want to consider a check-in bag. These bags must fall under 55 pounds for all passengers on a plane. The maximum dimension is 62 inches (length + width + height). There are special exceptions for SMILES members. As a SMILES member, you are welcome to bring baggage up to 70 pounds.
